About specification of Memory Card Access LED
As written in User's Manual, Memory Card Access LED (Yellow LED) of Internal 7 in 1 Drive 3 is always lighting while a host PC is powered on.

However, the LED of the "New version" Internal 7 in 1 Drive 3 does not light but blinks only during accessing a Memory Card.
This is normal for such drive, because the electrical specification of Memory Card Access LED of the "New version" has been changed.

How to distinguish the "New version":
To distinguish the "New version" Internal 7 in 1 Drive 3 from the "Previous version" drive, please refer to a serial number (S/N) label of the drive.
To find the S/N label, please refer to » Position of S/N Label
As the figure above, the "New version" Internal 7 in 1 Drive 3 has following characteristics on the S/N label.
The 4th letter from the right is 'H' or later, for example 'I', 'J', 'K'... and so on.
The 3rd letter from the right is 'E' or later, for example 'F', 'G', 'H'... and so on.
Example of "Previous version"

For example, if the S/N label of the drive is as the figure above, it is "Previous version", because the 4th and 3rd letters from the right of S/N are "EC".
The firmware updating to this drive does not change the specification of LED.

The S/N label is near the connector on the back of a drive.
